Welcome to My Practice

Providing compassionate care for mental health and well-being.

Meet Abigail

You are probably here because you are struggling in some way. Beginning therapy can be a hard decision and maybe a little uncomfortable . I hope that I can support you in this decision and make this step as simple and gratifying as possible. I work with families and adults to explore problems including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, codependence, grief/loss and many other challenges. Often these challenges stem from our beginnings and we will explore our past to be able to embrace our future. This can be an intimidating process. A safe and supportive environment can make this a very meaningful experience.

As a clinician it is my joy and purpose to help others better understand themselves and their experiences in order to live a more full and contented life. It is a wonderful gift to bear witness to the journey of others as they navigate the often difficult waters of life’s ebb and flow. I incorporate my mindfulness training into the therapeutic process.

My hope is to provide a safe and nurturing environment to explore your goals for treatment. This could be to provide relief from the symptoms you are experiencing, or perhaps a much deeper goal and intention. I use several theoretical orientations including Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment Theory, Narrative Therapy, Somatic Therapies, and Trauma Informed.

What My Clients Say

“I began working with Abigail at a very difficult point in my life and through that work have found so much relief and healing. I feel lighter, more able to face each day, and more hopeful that healing can happen and will continue. Abigail has a broad background of training and expertise which has been so helpful in our work together. She has much experience to draw from and there is always more than one approach to try as we work through something. I could not be more grateful to have found Abigail when I did, I truly believe my life was changed forever because of it.”

“I have been a patient of Abigail's for over a year now, and I couldn't give a higher recommendation. My time with her has helped me, and is still continuing to help me overcome many difficult things in my life, including, religious trauma/abuse, emotional trauma/abuse, codependency, family dynamics, boundary setting and so much more. She is a guiding light who has led me to mindful meditation, and thoughtful reflection among other tools that aid me in my healing journey. She is not only my therapist, but also mine and my husband's marriage counselor. Her guidance is what saved our marriage. Her thoughtful, caring approach and mediation is still something we each seek out together and individually on a weekly and a monthly basis. I plan to seek out her energy services next. She is the best decision I've made for myself and for my marriage.”
